About Us
PHILANTHROPY-5 is a sericulture project which was founded in 1998 with the hope that it would minimize (if not eradicate) poverty in Manipur. It is registered under UAM in the Government of Manipur as a private enterprise. It is spread over an area of 78000 Sq ft in Mantripukhri on NH39 which is 4kms away from Imphal City. It falls under the jurisdiction of Imphal East District.
As the name suggests, PHILANTHROPY-5 is all about extending unconditional love to all humankind. Its main objective is to generate maximum employment opportunity to the rural population. The unit has different sections as follows.
